Envelope Works

Working with Heyder

Heyder envelope manufacturers has recently become part of our group after a deal with Printing Partners GMBH.

Heyder was first established in 1877 as a family business that grew to 150 staff.

During the war a bomb landed on the factory during production and unfortunately 147 out the 150 staff were killed. The only survivors were the two sons of Heyder and the Sales Manager.

They took the bold decision to start up the envelope manufacturing company once again and can now look back at, not only one of the most successful business saves in all time, but also one of the most heart warming.

Due to their drive, dedication and believe, they have now created a company that turns over approximately €11 million per annum. It is now owned by Brimberg, a large printer in Germany with an annual group turnover of €40 million.

Three times each day, five days a week, trucks take eighteen pallets of printed flat sheets to the Heyder factory in Duren, were they are then converted and delivered directly to our customers.

The factory in Duren has fourteen envelope manufacturing presses and lives up to everything you would expect from the Germans – with the quality of production being second to none.
